Remote Server Management
In addition to HP TopTools, each HP Netserver system includes remote
management tools that provide you with access to your HP Netserver regardless of
the system state.
Integrated Remote Assistant included on L-Series Netservers offers emergency
modem access to the server. It can page you when a problem arises and allow you
to access the system event log, redirect the console to your location and even
power cycle the server.
Alert On LAN 2 (AOL2) and Wake On LAN (WOL) included with LP 1000r and
LP 2000r series Netservers allows an administrator to power on, power off, power
