Minimum HP TopTools Auto Alert Console Hardware Required
• Intel 486 computer with 16 MB of RAM connected to the network
• A VGA color monitor (800 X 600, 256 colors minimum resolution)
• 5 MB of hard disk space
• A CD-ROM drive or access to a networked CD-ROM drive if you aren't
planning on downloading the software from the Internet.
Minimum HP TopTools Auto Alert and Instant TopTools Console
Software Required
The HP TopTools Auto Alert software obtained in one of the following ways:
• From the Internet at:
http://www.hp.com/toptools
• From the HP TopTools CD-ROM that came with your system
• From the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM that came with your system.
You need version L.18.20 or later for L Series, and M.01.00 or later for E
Series NetServers.
The HP TopTools Auto Alert console must have one of the following versions of
Microsoft Windows software and web browser installed and running:
• Microsoft NT Workstation 4.0 with:
à Microsoft TCP/IP stack
à Microsoft IPX/SPX stack
à NetWare Client Service
• Windows 95 with:
à Microsoft Windows 95 Service Pack 1 recommended
à Microsoft TCP/IP stack
