Firmware Requirements
System Firmware revision 1.61 or greater is required for Linux to be installed on your
Itanium 2-based system. To determine your current version, type "INFO FW" at the EFI
Shell prompt. The firmware revision should be 1.61 or later.
For more information on firmware, go to www.hp.com/go/bizsupport. Select "download
drivers/software," and choose server, then the appropriate product (e.g. hp rx2600).
