If offered by SAP, it is a supported procedure to use a
downwards-compatible SAP ABAP kernel 6.40 for these components.
Supported database technologies include all Oracle 8.x, 9.x and
SAPDB/MAXDB 7.x revisions that are available from SAP in
combination with these Application Components. Failover of
single-instance database installations is handled by the product.
The coexistance with multi-instance Oracle RAC setups is possible.
Restrictions apply regarding possible configurations. Please contact your
HP representative for details.
Enqueue Replication and System Central Service technologies are not
supported.
Clustering of SAP J2EE is not supported. Proper handling of any J2EE
based functionality that interacts with clustered ABAP components is
not guaranteed.
NOTE It is strongly recommended to use the latest kernel patch that is
available from SAP.
Software Dependencies
In addition to SGeSAP/LX (T1227AA), to allow proper functioning, the
following products need to be installed on all cluster nodes:
• HP Serviceguard for Linux product -version A.11.15-software and
license (B9903BA or 307754-B23 or 305199-B23(dual license)).
• HP Serviceguard NFS for Linux product -version A.01.02-software
and license (T1442AA).
The Serviceguard NFS for Linux A.01.02 is shipped with SGeSAP/LX
and can be found on the installation media. For the most current
