Managing Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Integrity Linux, December 2005

Step by Step Installation of SGeSAP on Integrity Linux for SAP WAS Central Instances
Cluster Configuration
Chapter 264
The ASPLATFORM[* array need to be specified as the platform for an
Application Server that is controlled by the package. Currently
supported values are "Linux" for a standard Application server running
on LINUX or "SG-PACKAGE" for an Application Server running as
Serviceguard package within the same cluster. In the latter case
ASHOST[*] might have different values on the different package nodes.
ASPKGNAME[*] should then be set to the package name.
ASPKGNAME[*] is only required if ASPLATFORM[*] is set
to"SG-PACKAGE". The variable should then contain the full
Serviceguard package name of a dialog instance package. Naming
conventions for these packages are d<INSTNR><SID>.
OS590 Optional Step:
REM_COMM defines the method to be used to remotely execute
commands for application server handling. It can be set to ssh to provide
secure encrypted communications between hosts over an insecure
network. The default value is remsh.
OS600 Optional Step:
Specify AS_PSTART=0 if you want the Application Server startup to run
sequentially. The default value here is AS_PSTART=1 for parallel
startup. Setting AS_PSTART=0 may slow down your total failover time.
