SR-IOV compliant NICs

An SR-IOV compliant I/O device is required to enable the SR-IOV feature on SR-IOV capable platforms. HP supports the

following SR-IOV compliant NICs on ProLiant platforms.

The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560FLB Adapter is a dual port 10Gb Ethernet FlexibleLOM mezzanine adapter for the SR-IOV-

compliant ProLiant BL Gen8 servers. Information for this adapter is located at:

The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560SFP+ Adapter is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP+) adapter that you can insert into an

SR-IOV-compliant ProLiant DL, ML, or SL G7 or Gen8 server. Information for this adapter is located at:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux host and guest operating system for enabling SR-

IOV

An SR-IOV capable host and guest operating system must be installed on the platform to enable the use of the SR-IOV

feature on the host and guest. The following table lists the supported Host and Guest operating systems for enabling SR-

IOV on HP ProLiant platforms.
