• Verify the new instance is running:
Log in as the HANA administrator.
su - <SID>adm
Verify that the HANA processes are running.

Add the virtual machine to the HANA Studio management station
• Log in to the HANA Studio management station.
• Add the new virtual machine’s fully qualified name to the hosts file

This is one way to add name resolution to an environment. Other environments may use a DNS server. The important thing is that the IP address and name
resolution is consistent.
