Navigate to the appropriate address line, press the F4 key and select OK.
Use the Tab key to move between fields and enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Fully Qualified Hostname for the virtual
NICs.
Press F10 when done.
• If needed, repeat all the tasks under step 13 for the second interface.
• To save the configuration and exit, press F10, F10, and F9.
• Verify that the fully qualified hostname is set with both the hostname and domain.
hostname –f
The following message appears:
• Verify the /etc/hosts file still has the original entries and the newly created one for hanavma.
• Run the date command and verify that the date, time, and time zone are set correctly for the installation location. If
necessary, reset them.
• Run the hanaconfig shell script to rename the HANA instance on this virtual machine.

hanaconfig.sh –interactive
