Description
This release includes an updated version of HP Library and Tape Tools (L&TT).
L&TT 4.17 is an incremental release that targets:
• STTF (save trace to flash) support ticket for LTO-6 drive.
• Improved data assessment test.
• Support for the latest ESL G3 and MSL6480 firmware versions.
Update recommendation
Recommended.
Supersedes
All earlier versions of L&TT.
Devices supported
• Virtual libraries and D2D backup devices—Reinstated support for D2D virtual drives for
performance testing.
• Tape libraries and autoloaders.
• Tape drives—Same as L&TT 4.16.
• Other backup devices—Same as L&TT 4.16.
