Workarounds
Delay the cluster service for MSCS clusters that are using VSA-hosted volumes
for the shared disk
The cluster service is responsible for starting any application virtual machines that have been configured
to be highly available. The cluster service on the windows host must be set to Automatic (Delayed
Start) in this situation. Before the cluster service can successfully start, the Hyper-V services must first
start and then start up the VSAs in order to have the volumes available that the cluster service (and
therefore the application virtual machines) rely on.
