Configuring RAID
Configure RAID after powering on the VSA. If you power off the VSA and add disks, you must again
configure RAID when you power on the VSA.
NOTE:
If you create the VSA for Hyper-V with one disk, RAID will be automatically configured. If you create
the VSA for Hyper-V with more than one disk, you must manually add the remaining disks to RAID
using the CMC.
1. Select the node in the Available Nodes pool.
2. Navigate to the Storage category.
3. Use either of the following methods to add the remaining disks to RAID.
• Reconfigure RAID in the Storage category, using the RAID Setup tab.
• Choose 'Add disk to raid' on the Disk Setup tab.
1. Select the VSA in the navigation window and select the Storage category.
2. Click RAID Setup Tasks on the RAID Setup tab.

3. Choose Configure RAID.
