2 Chapter: Finding the iSCSI
Initiator Version
Overview
This section provides instructions on how to quickly determine the version of
Microsoft™ iSCSI initiator being used.
Problem Description
When calling LeftHand Networks support, or troubleshooting iSCSI issues, it
is helpful to know what version of the Microsoft™ iSCSI initiator you are
using. You can use either of two methods to identify the Microsoft™ iSCSI
initiator version, using the iSCSI command line interface (iscsicli), or the
Windows Device Manager.
Using the ISCSI Command Line Interface
1 Open a command window by clicking Start > Run, type cmd in the Open
box and click OK. A command window opens, shown below.
