13. The network will be scanned for all available zones and they will
be listed for

. By default, the server will select the default
zone of the nearest router. To change it, select the preferred zone.
If no router is attached to this segment, you will see “

. You will see the
Authentication
page, shown next.
14. If you want access restrictions to be administered by a remote
Macintosh computer as a user authentication server, check the
Yes
checkbox and specify the server.
That Macintosh computer must have file sharing enabled
and must have the user lists, groups lists, and user pass-
words defined. Those definitions will be used to control
access to shares on the HP CD/DVD-ROM server. Setting
the volume permissions is described on page 25.
If you want to define passwords on the HP CD/DVD-ROM
server instead of on an authentication server, do
not
check the
Yes
checkbox. You will have the opportunity to set passwords
for each share as described for setting permissions on page 25.
