FABR-1049

Message <timestamp>, [FABR-1049], <sequence-number>,, ERROR, <system-name>, Detected

Fabric ID (FID <InheritedFID> inherited) conflict with neighbor switch

<Switchname> (domain <Domain ID>, FID <Fabric ID>). E-ports (<Number of E-ports

disabled>) connected to the switch are disabled.

Probable Cause Indicates that the neighbor switch has Fabric ID conflict with the inherited FID of the local switch.

All E_ports directly connected to the conflicting switch are disabled.

Recommended

Action

Make sure that all the switches in the fabric have same Fabric ID or upgrade the switch firmware to

a VF-capable firmware.

Severity ERROR

FABR-1050

Message <timestamp>, [FABR-1050], <sequence-number>,, INFO, <system-name>, <License>

license not present. F-port trunking cannnot be enabled on port(<Port>).

Probable Cause Indicates that the Trunking or SAO license is not installed.

Action

Install the required license.

<Testname> loopback test failed for slot <Slot> and port <Port>.

Probable Cause Indicates that the D-Port test failed for the given slot and port due to one of the following reasons:

• The SFP fault detected by Electrical loopback test failure.

• The cable fault detected by optical loopback test failure.

• An ASIC issue detected by remote loopback test failure.

Action

Replace the faulty SFPs, cables, or blade.
