User interface issues
• After disabling the System Software Update option on the Intelligent Provisioning Preferences
page and then visiting the home page, Update before OS install is selected as the default System
Software Update option when following the Install and Configure path.
Suggested action: Select the Skip Update option even though it is already disabled in the
preferences. If you continue without selecting Skip Update, the system might become unresponsive
when attempting to update the system software update.
• When the power profile is updated with the Quick Config Utility on the Maintenance screen, the
new setting is not reflected on the Hardware Settings page.
Suggested action: Modify the power profile on the Hardware Settings page, if necessary.
• Some screens or items might not be localized.
• When clearing the Proxy Address and Port field in Intelligent Provisioning Preferences, a yellow
error appears if there is a space in the field.
Suggested action: When clearing the Proxy Address and Port field, remove all spaces. A space
is considered an invalid entry.
• When running a deployment with OS settings, it stops at Browse for OS files. When
selecting System Info or Help, the screen is blank.
Suggested action: Reboot the server.
• When updating Storage Controller components on the Firmware Update screen, the components
are listed twice.
• On the OS Selection screen, when using DVD as source media, you might get the following
message when scanning for optical/iLO media: Unable to find any valid media, add
and choose ‘rescan’. There is no rescan button.
Suggested action: Repeat the OS selection process using a different DVD, or select a different
source media.
• When choosing Static IPV4 from the Preferences screen for iLO Network Settings, a pop-up window
with the message Undefined might appear. You cannot save Static IPV4 to iLO Network Settings.
• When the EULA is accepted on the Intelligent Provisioning End User License Agreement screen,
the page shifts up. If you want to change the interface language, the option is hidden on the
Intelligent Provisioning Preferences screen.
Suggested action: Access the Intelligent Provisioning Preferences screen from the Maintenance
screen. The language option is available.
• The Local Repository option in the Update From field of the Deployment Settings Firmware Options
trait is the same as the HTTP/FTP (Use URL Syntax) option in the System Software update field of
Intelligent Provisioning Preferences. Both options are Firmware Update URL options.
Windows-specific issues
• When doing a recommended or custom installation of Windows Datacenter Core editions, the
system reboots after successfully copying Intelligent Provisioning and operating system files. After
Windows initializes, the Administrator account is not available. This issue also occurs with Windows
