Suggested action: If an error for a missing driver appears, install the driver manually.
• After generating an Array Diagnostic Report through Array Configuration Utility and saving it to
a USB key, the USB key is not detected in other Intelligent Provisioning utilities.
Suggested action: Reboot the server.
• During product launches, HP might experience down times in which online files might be
unavailable. These files might include those needed for downloading Intelligent Provisioning, SPP,
and Scripting Toolkit. Connection errors might also be experienced during these times.
• OS installation through Deployment Settings continues, but does not complete, without hard drives
installed or arrays configured.
Suggested action: Be sure hard drives and arrays are configured before continuing with OS
installation through Deployment Settings.
• When you choose Enable Remote Support for an existing deployment on the Remote Support
screen of Deployment Settings, the Local Remote Support Server and Local Remote Server Port
fields are missing. Consequently, the host name and port address cannot be edited.
Suggested action: Reboot the server.
• After a successful Firmware Update using Deployment Settings, the server reboots. When you
click Firmware Update from the Perform Maintenance screen, the Preferences screen appears.
Suggested action: Navigate back to the Perform Maintenance screen and click Firmware Update
again. If you still do not see the Firmware Update screen, reboot the server.
• When renaming a deployment In Deployment Settings, the deployment might get deleted if you
use an invalid character and then save it.
Suggested action: Make sure you do not use any invalid characters when renaming a deployment.
Use only alphanumeric and underscore characters..
• When attempting manual installation using FCOE Personality, the installation does not complete.
The FCOE driver is not present on VID.
Suggested action: Manually install the required drivers before performing a manual installation
using FCOE Personality.
• When running a deployment in Deployment Settings, the deployment does not complete if the
process is interrupted.
Suggested action: Do not interrupt the deployment process.
• When running a deployment with Firmware Update settings enabled, the firmware is not updated.
Suggested action: Update the firmware using the Firmware Update utility from the Perform
Maintenance screen.
• Settings in the Intelligent Provisioning Preferences screen are saved only after you exit the screen.
