Additional Product Interactions

In addition to the product interactions listed in Installing and

Managing HP-UX Virtual Partitions (vPars), please note the

following additions:

• JFS (Journal File System)

To avoid hangs on vxfs file systems, please install kernel

patch PHKL_25022 on the operating systems of each virtual

partition. This patch is available from the IT Resource

Center web site at:

http://itrc.hp.com

• pdc_info tool

For correct processing of the tombstone information, you

should update to pdc_info version 2.35. This version is

available on the HP-UX 11i September 2001 or later Support

Plus media.

If you see the following failure during the execution of the rc

scripts while booting an OS, you need to update to pdc_info

version 2.35:

Copy processor logs to /var/tombstones..........[FAIL]
