• OLAR (On-Line Addition and Replacement) for PCI slots works the
same on a vPars computer as it does on a non-vPars computer.
However, you can use OLAR functions only from the partition that
owns the PCI slot.
• HP-UX does not support the dump, swap, and console I/O attributes.
See the vparresources (5) manpage for more information on the I/O
attributes.
• You can add or delete I/O to or from a partition only when the
partition is down.
• You can change the attributes of I/O only when the partition is down.
