NOTE: HP-UX kernel tunable mdep_reduce_rse_size is not applicable to VSPs using
Intel® Itanium® 9300 processors. Online migration of Integrity VM guests between VSPs using
Intel® Itanium® 9300 processors is specified in Table 6 (page 41).
• Supported versions of HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM
Online migration of Integrity VM guests between a VSP with Intel® Itanium® 9300 processors
and another with Intel® Itanium® 9500 processors is supported only with
◦ HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM V6.2 with PK2 or newer patches
or
◦ HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM V6.3 or newer
NOTE: HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM V6.2 PK2 consists of the following patches:
◦ PHSS_43648: HPVM B.06.20 CORE PATCH
◦ PHSS_43650: HPVM B.06.20 vnGuestLib PATCH
◦ PHSS_43651: HPVM B.06.20 AVIO-HVSD PATCH

Online migration of Integrity VM guests between a VSP with Intel® Itanium® 9300 processors
and another with Intel® Itanium® 9500 processors is supported only for guests running HP-UX
11i v3 March 2012 or newer.
