3.2.1 Changes to operation of HPVM commands
3.2.1.1 hpvmmodify(1M) and vparmodify(1M)
When hpvmmodify(1M) or vparmodify(1M) is used for adding I/O devices to running guests
Only one -a operation may be specified at a time.
and
No other resource modification operations may be combined with the -a option.
3.2.1.2 hpvmstatus(1M)
hpvmstatus(1M) has been enhanced to support new functionality introduced in this version. When
the -V option is used:
All reserved PCI I/O device slots for the specified vPar or Integrity VM guest is listed. This
information may be used to select a free slot where an I/O device that is to be dynamically
added must be placed.
Status of the last Dynamic I/O addition operation is shown.
Value of the new HPVM tunable used to enable online migration of Integrity VM guests between
VSPs using Intel® Itanium® 9300 and 9500 series processors is displayed.
3.2.1.3 hpvmdiorecover(1M)
hpvmdiorecover(1M) has been enhanced to handle some inconsistencies that previous versions
were not capable of handling.
