TS/MP Supplement for Limits Relief (H06.05+, J06.03+)
2. Stop the ACS Subsystem
1. Stop the ACS
subsystem.
Use the SCF STOP command. For detailed information about this
command, see STOP in Chapter 7. For example:
STOP ACS $ZACS, FORCED
2. Verify the ACS
subsystem is stopped.
Use the SCF STATUS command. For detailed information about this
command, see STATUS in Chapter 7. For example:
STATUS ACS $ZACS, DETAIL
3. Stop $ZACS
1. Check whether $ZACS is
stopped.
Use the SCF STATUS PROCESS command. For example:
STATUS PROCESS $ZZKRN.#ZACS, DETAIL
2. If $ZACS is running,
abort it.
Use the SCF ABORT command interactively or in an OBEY file,
as follows:
ASSUME PROCESS $ZZKRN
ABORT #ZACS
The ABORT PROCESS command stops $ZACS but does not
delete the process configuration. In other words, you can use the
SCF START command to start $ZACS again.
3. Verify that $ZACS is
stopped.
Use the SCF STATUS command as described in Step 1.
4. Delete the $ZACS Process Configuration
Delete the ACS domain coordinator process
($ZACS).
This step also deletes the ACS subsystem
configuration file (BCINI).
Use the SCF DELETE PROCESS command
interactively or in an OBEY file, as follows:
ASSUME PROCESS $ZZKRN
DELETE #ZACS
The DELETE PROCESS command removes the
$ZACS configuration. Therefore, before you can
start $ZACS again, you must use the SCF ADD
command to add the ACS subsystem.
