ServerNet Pathways in the VIO Enclosure
This drawing shows the ServerNet communication pathways in a pair of VIO enclosures. Optic
lines connect the ServerNet PCI adapter cards in the blade elements with the
ServerNet-to-processor ports in each VIO enclosure. The ServerNet-to-processor ports in VIO
enclosure module 2 communicate with the X logic board. The ServerNet-to-processor ports in
VIO enclosure module 3 communicate with the Y logic board. Each logic board communicates
with the Fibre Channel ports and Ethernet ports located in VIO enclosure module 2 and VIO
enclosure module 3.
