HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out 3 v 1.00 overview
HP iLO 3 enables you to configure, update, and operate servers remotely. You can use iLO 3
with a browser-based interface or an RBSU. For more information, see the HP ProLiant Integrated
Lights-Out 3 v 1.00 User Guide. Many tools and syntaxes support iLO 3. For more information,
see the HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out 3 v 1.00 Scripting and Command Line Guide. Some iLO 3
features are licensed features and can only be accessed after purchasing an optional license. For

Features in this release
This is first release of iLO 3 v 1.00. It is based on iLO 2.

Telnet Interface (multiple SSH sessions are available for your use)
Terminal services pass-through (the iLO 3 Integrated Remote Console performance and
feature set removes the need for this service)
Applet for the Virtual Serial Port (the Virtual Serial Port is still available through SSH)
Stand-alone applet for Virtual Media (the Virtual Media functionality is included in the Java
IRC; as well as the Windows IRC)
Remote Console Hot Keys (the IRC applications support real keyboard-like functions)
C-Class BladeSystem Wizard (the BladeSystem Onboard Administrator now provides the
BladeSystem Wizard support)
