Description
The HP iLO 3 firmware enables you to configure, update, and operate servers remotely. You can use
iLO 3 with a browser-based interface, or a RBSU. For more information, see the HP iLO 3 User Guide.
Many tools and syntaxes support iLO 3. For more information, see the HP iLO 3 Scripting and Command
Line Guide. Some iLO 3 features are licensed features and can only be accessed after purchasing an
optional license. For information, see the HP website at http://www.hp.com/go/ilo/licensing.

Recommended. Update to this firmware version if your system is affected by one of the documented
fixes or to take advantage of the enhanced functionality provided by this version.

The following settings must be enabled when using the iLO web interface:
• JavaScript—Client-side JavaScript is used extensively by this application.
• Cookies—Cookies must be enabled for certain features to function correctly.
• Pop-up Windows—Pop-up windows must be enabled for certain features to function correctly.
Verify that pop-up blockers are disabled.
