Commands that disable (notifications, status checks, and so on) override
commands that enable. For example, suppose you disable checks for a
particular service, such as
PING
, using the
Service Information
view (command
Disable checks of this service
), but enable checks for all services using the
Nagios
Info
view (command
Start executing service checks
). That particular service (
PING
)
is
not
checked because disabling overrides enabling.
