Installing Insight RS on CS500 for SAP HANA Scale Out:
 A Hosting Device with a supported ProLiant Windows-based server is included as
part of the CS500 for SAP HANA Scale Out configuration to host Insight RS.
The HP AppSystems for SAP HANA consists of a family of solutions as outlined below:
 Scale Out - includes HP ProLiant BladeSystem BL680c servers and the HP StoreAll
9300 Gateway Storage with HP Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) P6550.
 Single Node – The single node family includes a choice of seven different
configurations, with the large configuration
o DL580-based Single Node: XS, S, M
o DL980-based Single Nodes: M+, Lg
o Virtual HANA – DL980 Large Single Node with Virtualization option
o Business Suite on HANA – 2TB and 4TB – DL980 based solution
Following are four AppSystem for SAP HANA configurations that have been tested with Insight
RS:
HANA Scale Out 1.2
Currently Supported Monitored Devices:
 BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure
 ProLiant BL460c G7
o SLES for SAP 11
 ProLiant DL380p Gen8
 HP 8/24 16-Port FC Switch
 HP 5900AF Switch
Note: The HP 5900AF Switch is supported without stacking in Insight RS 7.0.8
Content Level Update 1.
 Virtual Connect is not covered directly by Insight RS, but event monitoring is done via
the onboard administrator:
o HP Virtual Connect Flex-10/10D Module
o HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric 10Gb/24-port Module
Components not supported by Insight RS:
 3PAR products have separate support automation (STATS)
o 3PAR StoreServ File Controller
o 3PAR 7400 StoreServ Storage

Note: A Hosting Device with a supported ProLiant Windows-based server is included as part
of the HANA 1.2 appliance to host Insight RS.
