CS500 for SAP HANA Single Node (or Scale Up)
The major components of this family of solutions include:
 ProLiant DL580 Gen8
 D2700 Disk Enclosure (included only in 1TB and 2TB)
 SLES for SAP 11
The following has been tested with Insight RS, and the currently supported Monitored
Devices include:
 ProLiant DL580 Gen8
o SLES for SAP 11
The following components are not supported by Insight RS:
 D2700 Disk Enclosure with HDD
o Although the D2700 JBOD device is not recognized as an endpoint by Insight
Remote Support 7.x, monitoring of events such as hard disk drive, fan or power
supply failures reported by the Smart Array controller is supported.
Installing Insight RS on CS500 for SAP HANA Single Node:
 A Hosting Device with a supported ProLiant Windows-based server will be required
to host Insight RS.
CS500 for SAP HANA Scale Out
The major components of this family of solutions include:
 ProLiant DL580 Gen8
 ProLiant DL380p Gen8
 5900 AF Switch
 SN600B FC SAN Switch (M6710 SAS Drive Enclosure)
 3PAR StoreServ 7400
 SLES for SAP 11
The following has been tested with Insight RS, and the currently supported Monitored
Devices include:
 ProLiant DL580 Gen8
o SLES for SAP 11
 ProLiant DL380p Gen8
 5900 AF Switch
 SN600B FC SAN Switch
The following components are not supported by Insight RS:
 3PAR products have separate support automation (STATS)
o 3PAR StoreServ File Controller
o 3PAR 7400 StoreServ Storage
