Microsoft Windows support
HP always recommends installing the HP Integrity Insight Management Agents or HP Integrity WBEM Providers from the HP
Integrity Support Pack for Windows rather than installing the agents alone. For more information, visit

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 including Service Pack 1
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with SP1 or higher
Important
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system support requires the installation and enablement of HP Insight
Management WBEM Providers (WMI) on the monitored device. It does not support the SNMP protocol.
Support for Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 is limited to the full server version only and is not available for the core
version as much of the required functionality is unavailable for this version.

Important
HP Integrity Insight Management Agents (SNMP) are the only supported agents for Microsoft Windows 2003 operating
systems.
Also ensure that you have the Event Log Monitoring Collector (ELMC) installed on the monitored device as this is required for
event monitoring in addition to the agents or providers. Copy the appropriate (IA64 or x86/x86) ELMC client from the Insight
Remote Support download folder:
%HP_RS_DATA%\ELMC
on the Hosting Device. This folder defaults to C:\ProgramData\HP\RS\DATA\ELMC. This is a hidden folder, so you
may need to set your folder options to show hidden folders. See Appendix C for more information on ELMC.
OpenVMS support
OpenVMS V8.3-1 or higher
Dynamic Processor Resilience is now supported through the configuration of the Dynamic Processor Resilience
Adapter
Important
OpenVMS WBEM providers must be installed and the credentials properly configured for OpenVMS monitored devices.

OpenVMS 8.4 operating system support on the rx2800 i2 servers require the installation of VMS84I_UPDATE-V0500 or
