Installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 does not recognize the chipset on HP ProLiant Gen8-Series servers
using the kISO for installation. Refer to the Customer Advisory for more details.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications is based on the latest proven version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
Service Pack 2 and inherits all software and hardware certifications.
 Canonical Ubuntu 12.04

The Canonical Ubuntu operating system is supported for HP ProLiant Gen8 servers when using the iLO 4 connectivity with or
without the appropriate Agentless Management Service (AMS) installed. For a detailed list of supported Canonical Ubuntu

Important
VMware ESX and ESXi 4.1 U2 support is limited to monitoring via the embedded capabilities in the HP iL0 4; agent support is
currently not available.

The current HP Integrity server family models supported by HP Insight Remote Support 7.x are listed below. Additional
Integrity server models will be added to the supported models list as they are introduced.
Including automatic machine check abort analysis for all HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i v3 (See the Machine Check
Abort section below for details)
Important
HP Integrity Superdome SD-A and SD-B servers are not supported, but can be monitored with the HP Insight Remote
Support Advanced software. See Appendix A for details.
