5. Select the Send authentication trap check box.
6. Click the Accept SNMP packets from any host option.
7. Click OK to save the settings.
Install and Configure SNMP
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator must be installed on the Dell PowerEdge server and SNMP
service must be configured.
On a Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 server the solution was tested with Dell OpenManage Server
Administrator version 6.2.0.
HP recommends installing the latest version of Dell OpenManage Server Administrator.
Installing Dell OpenManage Server Administrator
Download and install Dell OpenManage Server Administrator software. To download the software, go to:
