Verify Connectivity by Sending an SNMP Test Trap to the
Hosting Device
Send a test event from the HP-UX server to verify communication between the HP-UX server and the
Hosting Device. Execute one of the following commands on the HP-UX server:
# /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/send_test_event disk_em
or
# /opt/sfm/bin/sfmconfig -t -a
