Ability to perform actions against multiple devices (device deletion, warranty & contract refresh, device disablement,
etc.)
Device registration status with HP is now displayed for each device as part of the status details
Improved error handling
New and improved user input error validation alongside each input field
Errors that were permanent in the top right corner now fade away after a few seconds rather than needing to be
manually cancelled
Application errors are now logged and can be viewed after they fade away through the link in the top banner
Improved time zone pull-down list both smaller and organized by region when configuring sites
Email Adapter contains new local email notification capability when the Hosting Device reaches its device limit based on
threshold configured
Email Adapter now allows the user to specify a “From” address to prevent the anonymous email being classified as
spam in their company
Email addresses now extended to include 60 characters
Localization support
Allow the user to receive local language email notifications based on the contacts preferred language selection (if
supported)
Automatic display of the user Interface screens and message catalogues based on the default web browser
language setting of the user (including English, German, Italian, French, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, Spanish and Portuguese)
Show Operating System information in the Device Summary Screen instead of category
Ability to create an offline .csv report of the device’s monitoring health service status for offline analysis by the
user/installer or that can be sent to HP Support, when requested
New Hosting Device Health indicator that checks critical operating parameters and services
New Administrator Settings tab to have a comprehensive view of all scheduled application tasks (incl. collections)
New About HP Insight Remote Support page to have a comprehensive view of critical application and configuration
parameters
Automatically snapshot the application and configuration details on a regular basis so that it can be fully backed up and
successfully restored, if needed

New SNMP Service Event Integration Adapter to allow integration with other management applications or ticketing

Capability to discover and collect configuration information from a VMware vCenter installation to enable new services
In support of an HP SAN Proactive Service contract, the ability to create a SAN group and collect from it has been added
to this release. See Appendix B for details and protocol requirements
Improved and standardized group management of devices that includes more information to help identify devices
Secure SNMPv3 protocol support where it is certified on the monitored device
