HP Modular Cooling System
Modular Cooling Systems are monitored through the management module that is installed on the Modular Cooling System.
Insight Remote Support automatically detects management modules as part of the device discovery process. The
management module should be installed and running before attempting discovery and SNMPv1 must be configured on the
Modular Cooling System so that Insight Remote Support can communicate with it.
HP Insight Remote Support 7.0.8 provides recommended service actions and automated event submission to HP for the
following failures:
 IIC Communications Failure
 Condensation Pump Threshold Exceeded
 Fan Failures
 Water Unit Input/Output Temp Sensor Failure
 Water Valve Failure
 Water flow Sensor Failure
 Fan Temp Sensor Failures
 Heat Exchanger Sensor Failures
