HP StoreEver Tape Libraries
HP Insight Remote Support 7.0.8 supports HP StoreEver Tape Libraries that use HP Command View for Tape Libraries
software version 3.1 or above. A copy of the software can be downloaded from www.hp.com/support/cvtl.
Note
Insight RS does not support standalone (non-library) tape drives.
SNMP v1 needs to be configured and enabled for the monitored devices to be able to send events to the Hosting Device. For
instructions on how to configure the tape library management tool to send traps, see the HP Insight Remote Support
Monitored Devices Configuration Guide available at www.hp.com/go/insightremotesupport/docs.
Note
Configuration collections are currently not supported for HP ESL and HP EML G3 Tape Libraries, except when these Tape
Libraries are part of a SAN collection. See Appendix B for details.

HP Tape Blades
Note
Insight RS does not support standalone (non-library) tape blades.
HP Ultrium 448c Tape Blades are monitored via the diagnostic agent installed on the server to which they are attached.

HP StoreOnce Backup (D2D)
Ensure that SNMP service is enabled and public community credentials are configured for the monitored device to be able to
