Software requirements

 Each Storage Node requires HP LeftHand OS (formerly SAN/iQ) version 9.0, 9.5 ,10.0, 10.5, or 11.0

 Each P4800 Storage Node running HP LeftHand OS version 9.0 requires Patch Set 05 or greater

 All other Storage Nodes running HP LeftHand OS version 9.0 require Patch Set 07

 Each Storage Node running HP LeftHand OS version 9.5 requires Patch Set 03

 SNMP needs to be enabled and configured for each Storage Node

 HP StoreVirtual Centralized Management Console (CMC) 9.0, 9.5, 10.0, 10.5 or 11.0

 For new installations, HP recommends installing the HP StoreVirtual Centralized Management Console (CMC) on the

Hosting Device, but it is also supported on a separate device

HP P2000/Modular Smart Array Systems

Both SNMP and WBEM need to be configured and enabled for P2000 G3 monitored devices to be able to send events to the

Hosting Device.

SNMP needs to be configured and enabled for MSA 15xx, MSA2xxx G1 and MSA23xx G2 monitored devices to be able to

send events to the Hosting Device.

All variants of HP P2000/Modular Smart Arrays are supported with this release. This includes:

 MSA1000 series

Important

The MSA1000 series is only supported when attached to a HP ProLiant server using SNMP protocol. It is not discovered or

monitored as a separate device but supported through the diagnostic agent installed and configured on the server. The HP

ProLiant’s entitlement to service is applied for the MSA 1000 series.
