1. Onboard Administrator (OA) firmware level 3.60 or above (recommended)
 Register with an Insight Remote Support 7.0.8 Hosting Device through the Onboard Administrator (OA) to send
service events to the Hosting Device for both the primary and standby OA
Note
If using OA firmware versions 3.55 or 3.56 HP recommends you upgrade to version 3.60.
2. Onboard Administrator (OA) firmware level prior to 3.55
 If you have configured a primary and standby Onboard Administrator (OA) in your environment, you should configure
the SNMP protocol to send traps to the Hosting Device
 Discovery from the Insight Remote Support Hosting Device should be limited to one of the OAs and not both

HP 9000 Servers
HP only provides limited remote support for customers using HP 9000 servers. As with standard support, HP Insight
Remote Support version 7.x will attempt to discover these products as remotely monitored HP products and send
information about failure events to HP.
However, if there are issues with the operation of the remote monitoring features of HP Insight Remote Support version 7.x
for these specific products, including the remote discovery or the reporting of failure events to HP, then HP will resolve such
issues in a commercially reasonable manner but without guarantee of an immediate response or a resolution. If a failure
event is successfully received at HP, it is managed according to the support level agreement.

HP NonStop Server Systems
HP NonStop Server systems are currently not supported with the HP Insight Remote Support 7.0.8 software, but can be
monitored with the HP Insight Remote Support Advanced software.
HP Alpha Server Systems
HP only provides limited remote support for customers using HP Alpha servers. As with standard support, HP Insight
Remote Support version 7.x will attempt to discover these products as remotely monitored HP products and send
information about failure events to HP.
