HP-UX machine check abort automatic analysis capabilities for HP-UX 11i v3
HP-UX machine check abort automatic analysis is available for all HP Integrity servers.
Note
The following servers require the installation of a specific System Fault Management (SFM) version to enable this capability:
 HP Integrity BL8x0c i2 running System Fault Management (April 2011 version or higher)
 HP Integrity rx2800 i2 running System Fault Management (April 2011 version or higher)
This SFM version is delivered as a part of Diagnostics Products Collection depot (April 2011 release or higher) available from
Software Depot at: h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayInstallInfo.do?productNumber=DiagProdCollection.
HP BladeSystem Enclosures
The scope of this monitoring is limited to only the Enclosure and the Onboard Administrator. Monitoring of the devices
within the Enclosure needs the additional steps of discovery and configuration of those devices to be monitored.
Note
HP BladeSystem c-Class interconnect modules (Virtual Connect, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, InfiniBand and SAS interconnects)
will automatically be monitored via the Onboard Administrator (OA) management module, if it is configured for monitoring.
The current HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosures are supported:
 HP BladeSystem c3000 Enclosure
 HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure
 Includes Onboard Administrator
HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosures can be configured for Insight Remote Support 7.0.8 using one of the two methods
based on the Onboard Administrator (OA) firmware level:
Do not attempt to configure both configuration methods as this is not supported and monitoring will not work correctly.
