1-2 Document Structure
This manual is divided into the following chapters and appendices:
 Chapter 1: Introduction to MPS — provides an introduction to MPS that includes a high-level
description of MPS architecture, components, and data flows.
 Chapter 2: MPS Installation Prerequisites— describes the hardware and software requirements
for the MPS environment.
 Chapter 3: Installing and Configuring MPS — describes the procedures for installing and
verifying installation of the MPS on the CMS. It also describes how to uninstall these MPS from
the CMS.
 Chapter 4: OVO Collection Extensions — explains when it is necessary to use OVO collection
extensions and how they are installed.
 Chapter 5: SAP SolMan Integration — describes prerequisites, installation procedure and
configuration information for the integration of SAP Solution Manager.
