10. Obtain the subject/category key value configured in SolMan Service Desk for synchronized
incidents. Provide the SAP Category key, NOT the name of the category. Please refer to
Appendix A to find out how to configure the Solution Manager to show these keys.
11. Enter this value into the corresponding field
12. Continue to enter all infrastructure which is SAP relevant (refer to section 5-2-4 )
5-2-4 Configuring the infrastructure for SAP Synchronisation
On the MVAA configuration page there is a list of all devices that can communicate their incidents to
Solution Manager.
For each server system that you want to report incidents on, tick the checkbox and enter the
following information:
The SID in the SAP System ID field
The SAP Client in the SAP System Client field
The SAP Installation Number in the SAP Install Number field
The SAP business partner id for the main contact for this SID in the SAP Partner ID of the
Contact person field
