5. Click Run Now to initiate a bidirectional certificate exchange. Observe the status output to verify the
exchange succeeded.
Note: Depending on the configuration of specific managed systems it is possible that not all
steps will show success.
6. Run the configuration collection for the managed system by selecting Tasks & Logs → View All
Scheduled Tasks. Select the configuration collection from the table and click Run Now.

Managing RSCC Software Component Versions for
HP-UX Managed Systems
The Components tab, accessed through the Options → Remote Support Configuration and
Services menu in HP SIM, enables you to:
l Choose Manual or Automatic management of your current and future RSCC software versions to
control which configuration collections will be run against which systems or automate it to update all or
only some configuration collections run against HP-UX managed systems.
l Manually manage all future HP-UX configuration collection versions by checking the Manually
Manage box for All New Systems. Manually manage existing systems by checking the Manually
Manage box next to the specific system(s), or all systems by clicking the uppermost Manually
Manage box on the Components tab.
