For each device, you should indicate the type of device, select a communication protocol and provide
authentication details (or associate devices with a credential group) and click Save All Changes to
prepare devices for RSCC collections.
Exchanging Server Certificates for HP-UX Managed
Systems
After installing the RS-ACC bundle on the HP-UX managed system (as directed in the Insight Remote
Support Advanced Managed Systems Configuration Guide), you must establish a trust relationship
between the CMS and System Management Homepage (SMH) running on each HP-UX managed
system.
Note: If your environment does not support the automatic process below, please refer to Appendix D:
“RSCC Manual Certificate Exchange Process” for how to do it manually.
1. While logged into HP SIM on the CMS with Admin priviledges, select an HP-UX managed system
and select Configure → Configure or Repair Agents.
2. The Install Providers and Agents page will load. Click Next.
3. The Configure or Repair Settings page will load. Scroll down to the Set Trust Relationship section,
and verify that both options are selected. Click Next.
4. On the Enter credentials page, provide the appropriate credientials for the managed system(s).
