Configuring WEBES for Email Notifications
The CMS uses WEBES with HP SIM to handle email configuration settings. To properly configure your
CMS, so that you receive email notifications about the status of Insight Remote Support Advanced, you
must complete the following steps in the WEBES utility:
1. On the CMS, start the WEBES Director: Start → Programs → Hewlett-Packard Service Tools →
Web-Based Enterprise Services → Start Director.
2. On the CMS, start the WEBES System Event Analyzer Start → Programs → Hewlett-Packard
Service Tools → Service Event Analyzer → Service Event Analyzer.
3. Enter your preferred profile name in the the Log-on dialog box, and click Logon.
4. On the WEBES toolbar, click the Configure WEBES Notification Settings button to display the
WEBES Notification Settings page.
5. Click the Email Notification link to display the WEBES Email Settings page.
Email configuration information is provided to WEBES by HP SIM except for the Recipients and CC
fields.
