A.05.80 HP Insight Remote Support Advanced Central Management Server Configuration Guide (October 2012)
Central Management Server Configuration Guide
Chapter 3: Remote Support Configuration and Registration
Eligible Systems are identified in the Insight Remote Support Advanced Release Notes available at
http://www.hp.com/go/insightremoteadvanced-docs. Eligible systems are not necessarily entitled to be
monitored. There is more information about the difference between being eligible and entitled in HP Insight
Remote Support Advanced Operations Guide.
Note: Be advised that maintaining the default, which enables all eligible systems identified in HP SIM
Discovery, means that all eligible systems will be enabled for Remote Support upon Discovery. HP
recommends maintaining the default (if necessary, Insight Remote Support Advanced services can
subsequently be disabled for individual systems on the SAN Services, Server Services, or Storage
Services tab). The alternative is disabling the default so that Insight Remote Support Advanced does
NOT automatically enable all newly discovered eligible systems. This alternative requires that you
manually enable any new managed systems for Remote Support services.
HP Privacy Statement
You have the choice to receive or decline communications from HP. The default is blank, or opt out.
Please read the privacy statements and determine the best choice for your unique business.
