Understanding the Packages Window
Software updates are managed in the Packages window. The following sections describe the different
columns in the Packages window and how they interact with each other. While the configuration of the
Remote Support Software Manager (RSSWM) is detailed in this document, it is important to consult the
full Insight Remote Support Advanced documentation set to fully understand which packages you should
install and maintain for your business needs.

The Latest Package Version Available from HP column displays the name of a software package
available from HP. Mouseover the package name to see a description of that particular package.
