HP Systems Insight Manager versions
The support policy is to support the current and previous major versions of HP Systems Insight Manager
(HP SIM). HP strongly advises that customers always upgrade to the latest HP SIM version and its
components. With the HP SIM 7.0 release, HP SIM 6.1 and all previous versions are no longer supported.

Known issues
Restarting HP SIM service after Insight Remote Support 5.7 installation
After HP Systems Insight Manager 7.0 installation, if you need to install Insight RSA 5.7 on a system that
does not have previous version of Insight RSA installed, then you must restart HP SIM service after the
Insight RSA user registration.
To restart the HP SIM service, perform the following:
1. Go to the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
2. Restart the HP Systems Insight Manager Service under Services
3. Start a new browser session and login to HP Systems Insight Manager.
NOTE: In order to upgrade HP Insight Remote Support Advanced from versions prior to version
5.5 to version 5.7, you must first upgrade to version 5.5 before proceeding to version 5.7.
