Chapter 5: Remote Support Configuration Collector Services
l Choose the specific version of RSCC collection rules applied to specific existing HP-UX managed
systems to select which configuration collections will be run against which systems.
Select the version by using the Version To Be Used By Future Collections drop-down list for the
system(s) you want set to that version of configuration collections.
l View version details of the latest available configuration collector software agents in the Version
Currently Used For Collections list.
l View version details for installed Advanced Configuration Collector (ACC) software on each of the
entitled and supported HP-UX managed servers in your enterprise in the Currently Installed column.
Working with RSCC Services for Storage Devices
The Storage Services tab allows you to view and update RSCS details for storage devices in your
enterprise from which the Remote Support Configuration Collector (RSCC) can potentially collect
configuration data.
Creating Credential Groups for Storage Devices
In large enterprises, for convenience many devices will often have identical authentication details. In such
cases, to avoid having to individually configure storage devices, you can pre-configure a credential group
with the relevant authentication details and apply those credentials to individual devices by means of a
drop-down list in the UI.
To create a credential group, and pre-configure authentication details, do the following:
