Chapter 5: Remote Support Configuration Collector Services
Important: If you are upgrading your existing instance of RSCC, these settings will not be retained.
You will need to reconfigure your settings as described in this section for all upgrades and new
installations.
When you click the Data Services tab, the window displays the supported configuration collection options
for each managed system type. In each of these sections, the current schedule is summarized. You can
also access links to configuration subpages that allow you to set global settings for configuration
collections for server systems, SAN devices, and storage devices.
To view and update RSCC task settings, do the following:
1. Open Options → Remote Support Configuration and Services, and click the Data Services tab.
2. In the Service/Tasks table, click the version link for the configuration, performance, or availability
collection that you want to configure.
3. A new page is displayed that allows you to configure settings for the device category that you
selected. This page also allows you to quickly switch between device categories by means of the
RSA Data Services drop-down list.
Important: If you disable an item (command) for a configuration collection in the Data Services
tab, it is disabled for all managed systems of that type (server system, SAN device, or storage
device) managed by the CMS.
