Chapter 2: Installing Insight Remote Support Advanced on the Central Management Server
9. Enter a directory path where you want to install Insight Remote Support Advanced or use the default
path. Choose the optional components that you would like to include with your Insight Remote
Support Advanced installation. By default all components necessary to operate Insight Remote
Support Advanced are installed, but based on your level of entitlement and types of managed
systems you may require additional packages. Consult Appendix A: “Insight Remote Support
Advanced Packages” for detailed information about the package options.
Caution: Korean and Chinese characters are not supported for custom directory paths when
installing Insight Remote Support Advanced. Either use the default installation path or use ANSI
characters for a custom directory path to avoid installation and configuration failures.
Click Next.
10. Verify that all of the prerequisites for the software packages you have chosen have been met. If any
packages show a status of Failure, resolve the problem, and click Recheck. Note you cannot
continue with the installation until all of the prerequisites have been successfully met.
