Firmware
Overview
Customer name The name of the customer. Select the column to sort or
select customers.
Device name The name of the device.
Model The model name that identifies the type of device.
Product number The product number.
Serial number The device serial number.
Operating system The operating system.
Connection type The type of connection, for example, Insight RS
Centralized Connect.
Support status The support status, for example, Proactive Care.
Category The firmware category, for example, Storage Controller.
Installed firmware
version
The version of the installed firmware.
Installed firmware
release date
(YYYY-MM-DD)
The release date of the installed firmware.
Latest firmware
version
The last version of the firmware. Click the link to
download the driver for the device and OS on HPSC.
Only available with Proactive Care service offering.
Latest firmware
release date
(YYYY-MM-DD)
The last release date of the firmware. Only available
with Proactive Care service offering.
Latest firmware
description
A description of the firmware. Only available with
Proactive Care service offering.
Is latest newer
than installed?
Y displays if the latest version is newer than the
installed version. N displays if the versions have the
same date. Only available with Proactive Care service
offering.
Does latest
address a critical
fix?
Y displays if the latest version contains a critical
update. Only available with Proactive Care service
offering.

A reboot is required. Only available with Proactive Care
