1 What's new in this release
The following features are supported in the current release of WBEM Providers:
• Classifies cache state to reflect the operational status.
• Supports Logical Unit Number (LUN) cache. The following two properties are added in the
Logical Drive page to support LUN caching:
◦ LogicalVolumeType
◦ RelatedLUN
• The Memory Summary table in the Memory Information page is modified to include the
following properties:
◦ Operating Voltage
◦ Operating Speed
• The following columns are added in the Board Details table in the Memory Information page:

◦ Ranks
◦ Technology

Known issues and limitations
This section provides a list of known problems and limitations as known to HP at time of publication.
If workarounds are available, they are included.
• Microsoft Teaming is not supported on Windows 2012
WBEM Providers 9.3 on Windows 2012 does not support Microsoft Teaming and as a result
does not display the network teams created in Windows 2012. Also, WBEM Network Providers
do not generate network teaming events on Windows 2012.

Corrective Action: None
• Network connectivity lost during WBEM installation
WBEM Provider installation hangs inconsistently when installed using tools such as the HP
Rapid Deployment software. This issue is caused when WBEM Provider enters a non-operational
mode during installation due to certain memory race conditions.
Severity: High
Corrective Action: Cancel the installation manually and restart the server.
